VICE PRESIDENT OF THE COMMUNICATION CLUB

After the Communication Club lost its original charter the previous year in 2014, Jessica helped to restart the club and helped the club regain its official charter. The Communication Club is once again a functioning club hosting it's own events, such as bowling night. Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assuming the duties of the President in his or her absence, facilitating election of officers, and overseeing event planning.
TUTOR ATÂ FAITH NETWORK OF THE EAST BAY
March 2017- May 2017
Jessica volunteered at the Faith Network of the East Bay for a total of 40 hours. As a tutor, she was put in charge of two children and held the responsibility of developing their individual tutoring session. The Faith Network of the East Bay's program increased reading scores by 30%. The tutoring program is not only widely popular but also has a huge success rate that prevents kids from falling behind in important basic skills for learning.

Jessica loves reading and has always been an avid reader, so she feels very passionate about this project.
